The weekend of September 12 and 13 was over and above my expectations for a 50th high
school reunion. Even the rain did not discourage the camaraderie at the picnic,
our first gathering of the weekend. Our 1953 Beaumont spirit persevered. Many classmates stated that the precipitation only encouraged a closer togetherness.
The school bus ride from the hotel to our alma mater instilled memories of the Public Service buses
that transported us to and from school. Time spent in the aud' and walking the
"hallowed" halls of Beaumont compounded more fond recollections. A classmate was
heard saying; "I didn't realize how many steps we climbed every day".
The banquet excelled with exuberance. Shouts of hellos and extended hugs abounded. The five hours allotted to us was nowhere near the time needed to connect with everyone we had intended
to revive our memories with. Those are my only regrets.
In all, the reunion was a stupendous success and a slight let down feeling now prevails. Kudos goes out again to each and every one of the 25 committee members. Their
enthusiasm was contagious and the class of 1953's 50th reunion surpassed all expectations.
To Beaumont High we pledged our love and our memories of the reunion will remain forever.

A Toast
to our Class
"Tonight
we toast our memories the students, athletes, and friends we once were reunited tonight, reliving our shared past.
Everything that happened at Beaumont played it's part in shaping us, so we return tonight, to celebrate our 50th
reunion,
to remember the youth we once were. We also honor those who taught
and encouraged us. We remember old friends those with us now, those who couldnt make it, and those who are no
longer with us. Dear classmates, lift your glasses with me to our younger selves their activities, their plans, and
their promise. May we always remember with gratitude their part in making us who we are today."

Just wanted to let you know the Reunion was a real success. Frank and I really enjoyed ourselves.
You did a great job putting everything together and I know it really was a lot of work. Hopefully, we can get a picnic together
next year with our class and maybe this time we will have better weather. Never know about Mother Nature. It really
didn't spoil our time though. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Words can not describe the emotions I felt the two
days I spent with my class mates during our reunion. Everything was perfect from the picnic to the banquet and Memory Book.
The committee is to be commended for all they did. I sincerely wish our paths will cross again in the not too distant future.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

did a great job.

I had a great time! I am so happy I was able
to be on the committee. I will miss our monthly get togethers. It was so much fun getting re-acquainted
with everyone. We might not have recognized each other at first but as soon as we began talking the 50 years passed
away. So many happy fun memories came back. I'm still puzzled as to how we got from class
to class in three minutes. Thanks to all who worked on the planning and to all who attended. I enjoyed every event.
I am proud to say I went to Beaumont.
Vivian Williams

together again soon.

Words cannot describe the wonderful time I had in working
on the committee, seeing everyone at the picnic and the banquet and just "hanging" with past classmates. Such great memories
are priceless. Can't wait until next year for the, hopefully annual, picnic. What a memorable event!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dot (Doell) McNeely

I just want to tell you that your website is
terrific and I thank you very much. Because of your work, I was able to attend the reunion vicariously.
Jane McCracken Nichols

Thank You again for the fantastic reunion! I
was so afraid I would not remember anyone. It was amazing to look at the photo name tag and see the person we are
today! Hope we will be able to do a picnic next year. I will be happy to help with it.
Jane (Desemone) Trende

I think a thank you
is in order for all the time and work that the committee gave to make the Beaumont 1953 reunion a success. It was great
to see everyone again and I hope we can relive memories again in another ten years. Thanks again, Ann Jercinovic Daus

I would like to thank
you and your committee for all of your time and energy that you gave to our 50th Reunion Party. It was a huge success and
I believe everyone had a great time. I understand that you were responsible for starting this undertaking, for that, I thank
you. Bob and I had a wonderful time. Our only complaint was that it seemed to pass too fast.Thank you again for everything.Hope
you and your family have a healthy and happy life. Shirley Sargent
